In today's world, Terms of Service pages are not very useful - they're often full of legal jargon that nobody really understands.

People often perceive CS2 gambling sites as rather suspicious, and we like to think that CSGOEmpire stands out clearly from the crowd.

We understand that you, the player, want to make sure that the site you use is legit when you gamble.

When using CS2 gambling sites, we strongly recommend you do your research before trusting anybody.

We genuinely want you to be comfortable when using CSGOEmpire. Whether you're gambling with pennies or if you have millions in your balance, we want you to know that you're in good hands.

For this reason, we want to be as transparent as possible.

Being fair towards our customers is incredibly important to us, and we want to show the world how fair we really are.

In all honesty, the main purpose of this page is to limit our legal liabilities. Many of the clauses on this page may not seem very practical. The clauses are probably there simply because our lawyers wanted them. Bureaucracy is wonderful, isn't it?

Regardless, we want to make this page as informative as possible. We will aim to write the terms with as simple terms as possible, and we will try to prevent unnecessary legal jargon.

Most importantly, we want to ensure that the rules of CSGOEmpire are fair and just and that we communicate them transparently. We're not the type of company that would take advantage of you with legal loopholes or hide unfair clauses in the small print.

These Terms are a binding agreement between you (we will use the word 'you' to refer to you as the person accessing CSGOEmpire site(s)) ("Service") and CSGOEmpire (Moonrail Limited B.V. (Curaçao company no. 148182, we will refer to ourselves in these Terms as "CSGOEmpire," "us" or "we")).

When you use our Services, now or in the future, you agree to the latest Terms of Service.

If you violate any of these terms, we may close your account. That's a broad statement, and it means you will need to put a lot of trust in us. We do our best to deserve that trust by being as transparent as possible.

It is our utmost priority to ensure that your funds are safe. Even in a scenario where your account is closed, we will ensure that you can withdraw all your funds. If needed, we will even compensate you for any unclaimed referral earnings, rewards, or other 'belongings' that have not yet been realized to your coin balance.

Funds

1. CSGOEmpire is fully responsible for letting you withdraw your funds.
2. Even in the event of a major hack or theft, or any other disaster, we are still responsible for allowing you to withdraw your funds. We will always ensure to hold enough funds in back-up reserves so that everybody can withdraw their funds.
3. While we wish that CSGOEmpire would stay up always and forever, it is still very likely that one day in the future, CSGOEmpire will close down. When that happens, we will again make sure that you will have enough time to withdraw your funds.
4. There is a slim chance that CS2 skins will become untradeable in the future. In this event, it would be impossible for us to let you withdraw CS2 skins. In this case, we would allow you to withdraw your funds using crypto. We would also do our best to offer withdrawals with fiat money, although we cannot guarantee that just yet.
5. We are big on bug bounties and reward whitehats generously. If you have found a harmful bug or exploit on Empire, contact our support team and they will connect you to the right person. You will be awarded with a bug bounty in crypto commensurate with the severity of the bug, if responsibly disclosed.
6. If we decide to close your CSGOEmpire account, we will still allow you to withdraw your funds. However, there is an exception: if you received your funds via bugs, exploits, skin price manipulation, or other malicious methods, we reserve the right to confiscate these funds or block your deposits.
7. Referring yourself is not allowed. Accounts found to be abusing the affiliate system by referring themselves may have restrictions placed on their account(s) such as having their referral earnings withheld and/or having their affiliate code changed to ‘empire’ without warning.
8. Accounts that have not accessed CSGOEmpire for a period of 6 years or longer will be considered dormant. CSGOEmpire will assume all funds left on dormant accounts including their balance and any available bonus cases. Dormant accounts may be deleted.
9. If you lose any funds directly due to a bug, or a system error, we will be responsible for returning your funds.

Account Security

1. You are responsible for ensuring that your account is secure. We will not be liable for any losses or damages from your failure to comply with this security obligation. We highly recommend that you set up two-factor authentication for added security.
2. CSGOEmpire accounts are not intended to be sold or shared. If somebody else logs into your account, we will not be liable for any damages or losses.

Betting

1. All bets are final. If you lose your funds by betting, we will not give you a refund.
2. Although we do our best to prevent it, there will be technical issues sometimes. Every once in a while, specific withdrawing methods may be temporarily disabled. Even if you are temporarily unable to withdraw, we will not be liable for any lost bets. If you feel that you cannot control the temptation to bet, we highly recommend using the self-lock feature.

Deposits & Withdrawals

1. By default, we are not liable for providing refunds for any deposits.
2. When making deposits with CS2 skins, it's impossible for us to provide a refund. We utilize a peer-to-peer system on our CS2 deposit and withdrawal system, which means we can't revert any trades.
3. Due to occasional Steam instability issues, software bugs, support interventions, or other Steam disruptions, the peer-to-peer system may rarely fail, get delayed, or lead to loss of funds. These are solely your liability and trading is conducted solely at your own risk. Refunds may be provided at our sole discretion, but we reserve the right not to take any action.
4. Users should not use any Steam feature or support process to reverse any trades, unless the feature is being used for its intended purpose. Using these features to invalidate trades on our platform is considered abuse and could result in account restrictions, including bans and balance adjustments.
5. If a trade that has been instantly credited is later reversed or becomes incomplete, we will recover the credited amount from the user’s pending rewards. Where we determine that abuse has occurred, users may forfeit all pending rewards, in addition to those used to correct negative balances.
6. When depositing or withdrawing with cryptocurrencies, you are responsible for ensuring that the transactions are done with the correct currency and the right address. If you make a mistake, we will not be liable for it.
7. When depositing CS2 skins, you are responsible for ensuring that you send the items to the correct account and within the given timeframe. If you make a mistake, we will not be liable for it.
8. When depositing or withdrawing with CS2 skins, you are responsible for ensuring that the prices are correct. If you withdraw something overpriced or deposit something underpriced, we will not be liable.
9. CSGOEmpire doesn't generate any profit from fees in the deposit and withdrawal process. However, there may be fees by 3rd-party payment processors. The players will have to cover these fees.
10. We will do our best to make the deposit and withdrawal system intuitive and easy to use. We will do our best to safeguard you from making any mistakes or accidents that could cause monetary losses. However, mistakes can happen and will happen. We will not be liable for your mistakes.
11. When withdrawing with cryptocurrencies, we typically allow you to withdraw 4,500 coins before KYC checks are required. There are some scenarios where our security system will require these checks to be completed before this limit is reached.

Who Can Use CSGOEmpire

1. You must be over the age of 18 and over the legal age to gamble in your area of jurisdiction.
2. You are responsible for ensuring that gambling is legal in your area of jurisdiction. Ensuring they are legally permitted to use the service is the user's sole responsibility. CSGOEmpire makes no claims and provides no guarantees that using the service is legal for the user.
3. CSGOEmpire is a licensed gambling website. Due to specific laws and regulations, we are not allowed to accept players from the following countries: Afghanistan, Cuba, Germany, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lithuania, North Korea, Mauritius, Slovakia, Spain, Syria, Yemen, United Arab Emirates, Montenegro, United Kingdom, the United States of America and its territories, France, Netherlands (including Curaçao and other countries and territories that form part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands), Australia, Venezuela, Democratic Republic of Congo, Libya, Somalia, Myanmar/Burma, Sudan, South Sudan, Mali, Central African Republic or Palestine. Due to the way we are regulated, some players may have their account restricted to trading functions alone and will strictly not be allowed to use any casino functions.

Connection Issues

Sometimes, connection issues and lag will happen.

You may want to place a bet, but the bet doesn't get processed in time. This could happen due to connection issues on your end or due to problems with our servers. You may miss out on a winning bet because of a server issue, but on the other hand, this may also rescue you from a losing bet.

While this can be frustrating, we cannot hold the liability of compensating for any lost bets. We will do our best to prevent such outages, and we will investigate any complaints on a case-by-case basis. However, we cannot promise compensation in this scenario. The reason for this is simple: if we were to offer compensation for 'missed' wins, users could exploit that widely, and the expenses could be wildly high for us – the ones who lost due to the lag would ask for a refund, but those who benefited from the lag would practically be gambling risk-free.

Misclicks

Similar to the above, we cannot refund you for misclicks or accidental bets. Again, the reasoning is simple: we cannot know if it was a genuine misclick or not, and if you were to win the bet, you wouldn't be refunding us either. In summary, we cannot offer risk-free gambling where you have a chance to win but no chance of losing.

Trading

Traders are welcome to use CSGOEmpire! Depositing and withdrawing using our peer-to-peer marketplace without gambling anything is perfectly fine. Traders help boost the volume and liquidity of CS2 skins in our system, which is why traders are extremely helpful for us. They help us to make the service better for the gamblers.

However, there is one rule:

We are not a financial institution, and we don't have the necessary licenses to act as a cryptocurrency exchange. For this reason, we do not allow you to trade cash and cryptocurrencies. However, any trades involving skins are fine.

Examples:

Not allowed:

• Cash to cash or crypto
• Crypto to cash or crypto (even if it’s the same currency)
• Tips to cash or crypto

These are fine:

• Cash or crypto to skins
• Skins to cash or crypto

These trading restrictions do not apply to genuine users who are either wagering their entire deposit or are using their entire deposit to purchase skins on our marketplace. These restrictions only apply to individuals who use our platform as a currency exchange without being genuine users of our core features for which we are licensed.

Users found to be in violation of these terms by using us as an exchange may have restrictions placed on their account, such as having their crypto withdrawal privileges revoked and only being able to withdraw skins.

Data Collection

We respect your privacy. We really do.

As a general rule of thumb: we don't want to use your data against you. We will aim only to collect data that helps us offer you a better service.

For example, if we ask you for your email address, we don't do it because we want to spam your inbox with ads. We want to provide real value to you. We want to have your email address to send you relevant information and updates that may be interesting for you.

However, we're not perfect. Sometimes we will collect data that may not be necessary, and in some cases, it may even be useless. Some tools such as Google Analytics may collect a lot of data about you that we don't even need.

There's a fine line between collecting necessary data for improving the services and collecting data out of greed. We want to be known as a fair company, and we will do our best to respect your privacy.

Generally speaking, we want to make our services enjoyable, but we don't want to use your own psychology against you. We could collect a bunch of data about our users and try to optimize the website to be as addictive as possible, but we prefer not to. We want you to understand that CSGOEmpire is built by fellow human beings, and we want to sleep well at night.

Data Security

We promise to never, ever sell your data. We will not share your personal data with other entities unless necessary for our core operations or legal reasons. Also, we do our best not to share any data that isn't necessary. Below are some examples:

• We use Intercom for support tickets. Some of your data will be sent to Intercom so that our support agents can easily see it. This includes data such as your Steam ID and your bet amounts.
• We use Google Analytics to view various metrics about our customer behavior.
• We use SEON for risk analysis to prevent fraudulent payments and other sorts of abusive behavior.

In extremely rare cases, we will be required to share your data with official government authorities if they request it. Until the moment of writing this, there have been three cases where we've shared user data with the police.

We understand that some of your data is extremely sensitive, especially the documents you provide for personal identification. We will do our best to keep that data secure, and we will restrict our employees' access to this data as much as possible.

It is important to note that personal identification documents are handled through third-party tools - Checkin & ShuftiPro, meaning that they have access to your KYC data.

The user is responsible for securing their login credentials. We shall not be liable for lost user accounts or the funds contained within or any other resulting damages if the user knowingly or unknowingly provides a third party with their login credentials, especially but not limited to the user falling victim to social engineering or phishing attacks.

When creating an account, you can open a 'gift case', which will either give you 0.01 coins or 2050 coins.

If you happen to win the jackpot, we will manually investigate your account. There are a lot of bots exploiting this feature, and we combat them by nullifying their wins.

There is a chance that you win the jackpot, and if your Steam account looks similar to a bot, we may revert the win.

It would be extremely unlikely, but there is a chance that an innocent winner would be judged as an abuser, and they may not receive the prize for that reason.
